I just ADORED my engagement session with Karen and Jason! We has so much fun at Magnolia Plantation and at the Battery Park in Downtown Charleston. The day went by quickly and I fell in love with the spirit of these two special people who were visiting Charleston from Maryland. I know that they think of Charleston as their "special place" and I also learned that Karen has always had a LOVE for rubber duckies (cameo appearance). Congratulations to such a great couple! Here is a snapshot of their experience and how they met. I wish you all the love and joy you can find in this life! Thank you for choosing me to capture this moment!

The experience:

Jenn was absolutely AMAZING to work with and our session was so much fun! We came from out of town to take our engagement pictures with Jenn, who far exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process. Jenn kept us smiling and laughing, and made the session effortless and easy. We really couldn't have picked a better photographer! Jenn used her expertise and attention to detail to make sure our shots would be unique and express who we are as a couple. Jenn has a great eye, a fantastic personality, and the time flew by when we were together. Thank you, Jenn, for a wonderful experience and photos that we will cherish forever!!

How we met:
Karen and Jason grew up and lived only a few miles from each other, but funny enough met randomly at a bar during football season in October 2012. Steelers football for Karen meant going out to watch the game with her friend, Patrick. When Karen arrived, she was introduced to Jason (Patrick's former classmate and fellow Steelers fan). As soon as Karen saw Jason, she thought, "Wow, he's cute!" They spent the game talking and laughing. They had their first date a few days later and they've been together ever since. Over the next four years, they dated and traveled the world together. One of the places they traveled to and kept coming back to was Charleston. As they were falling in love with each other, they also fell in love with Charleston. Karen and Jason got engaged in October 2016 while hiking out west, and they can't wait to say "I Do!" in a few short months. In twenty years, they hope to continue to travel with one another and love each other with all they have.
